Freshmen students and their parents will hear a number of new, unfamiliar terms and acronyms. The terms below will help with introductions to the La Cueva environment and culture.
Terms:
Fishbowl
A lower floor area at the north end of the LCHS lobby.
Fundraiser cabinet
A metal cabinet just inside the door of the band room. The cabinet is used to post current fundraiser information and sign up sheets for trips.
Zero Hour
Students must be in the soccer field with instrument ready to begin practice at 6:30am.

PAC – LCHS Performing Arts Center
POB – Pageant of Bands, Wilson Stadium, Albuquerque
TOB – Tournament of Bands, New Mexico State University, Las Cruces
ZIA - Zia Marching Festival, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque
