About the Boosters

The La Cueva Big Bad Bear Band is from La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  The Band consists of over 150 of the finest students at our school. The Band has competed in cities all around the country and won numerous awards in marching, drumline, colorguard and concert season as well as jazz.

The boosters support all elements of the LCHS music program which includes the following:

• Marching Band
• Drumline
• Colorguard
• Symphonic Band
• Wind Ensemble
• Concert Band
• Jazz Band

Are you a Band Parent?

An award-winning band needs a lot of support and that is provided by the band parents through the Band Boosters. In addition to coordinating fundraisers, the parents:

• chaperone all performance events and trips;
• provide administration and maintenance of the uniforms
• build props for the marching show
• distribute drinks and supplies for all performances
• email and phone tree to disseminate important information
• assist with our many fundraisers,
• assist with two craft shows, raffle and food sales
• many, many more!
